Founded in Concepción in 2001 by Gareth W. Green, Green I&C was established to solve highly complex industrial challenges. Its initial experience was forged in the Oil & Gas sector, providing services to ENAP Refinería Biobío related to the structuring, execution, and management of strategic projects. Starting in 2005, the company expanded its services to the country's central region, undertaking projects for major players in the fuel and energy markets. It became a strategic partner for project formulation and execution, supporting clients from the initial planning stages through to the various phases of engineering development.

In 2009, Green I&C expanded into the mining sector, a move that allowed the company to add services for both metallic and non-metallic mining operations to its portfolio of clients and projects.

Since 2010, Green I&C has been an active participant in the pulp and paper industry. Over the last decade, the company has undertaken numerous projects—primarily in the country's southern region—covering engineering implementation, hydraulic studies, risk analysis, and conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering across various industrial aspects.

In 2018, responding to the growing project needs of strategic partners in the central region, Green I&C opened an office in Santiago—its second location. This new site strengthened ties with clients in two of the country's major industrial hubs.
